Day 3 Gangtok >> Pelling ( 125 kms )
This morning check out of the hotel and depart for Pelling by surface. On arrival check in at the hotel / resort booked for you
Pelling is the nearest point to Kanchanjunga mountain, third highest peak in the world & thirteen other snow-capped peaks.Pelling is about 133 km away from Siliguri and 125 km from Gangtok and well connected by bus and jeep services. Day 4 Pelling
Day will be at leisure to enjoy some tourist places in Pelling Sightseeing Options: Visit the Sangachholing Monastery, Pemayangtse monastery, Palace ruins of Rabdentse, Changey waterfall., Kanchan Dezonga Falls, Rimbi Falls, Kechapalri Lake. Back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at the hotel in Pelling.
Day 5 Pelling >> New Jalpaiguri ( approx 150 kms)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the NJP railway station to board overnight train for Kolkata Overnight in the train (Get off at Howrah or Sealdah railway station ) NOTE : You can also take a flight from Bagdogra to Kolkata.
Day 6 In Kolkata
On arrival at the Howrah railway station or the Sealdah railway station, drive to the hotel booked for you in Kolkata. Once the check - in formalities are completed, depart for sightseeing.

Day 7 Around Kolkata
This morning after breakfast, visit the famous Botanical Gardens, the largest and oldest of its kind in India, It covers an area of 109.27 ha and is famous for the over 250 years old Great Banyan tree which covers 382 m in its circumference, with over 600 aerial roots. There are more than 30,000 varieties of trees and plants. Situated about 9 km from Kolkata, across the Hooghly, it is a lovely picnic spot, best reached by a ferry across the Hooghly from Metiabruz. (open from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm. )
Also visit the Handicrafts and Handlooms Export Corporation of India Limited. The handcrafted product range includes brass, bell metal, wood carving, horn, shell, marble inlay, silver inlay, stone, embroideries, paper mache, costume jewelry, glass, ceramic, terra-cotta, jute etc.
